AKA seeks apology from Burna Boy –
South Africans are asking Nigerian singer Burna Boy to issue an apology to them before he can be allowed to perform again in South Africa. The South African claim Burna Boy insulted them some months back and must apologize.
Also leading the motion is SA rapper AKA, the South African artiste in a tweet asked Burna Boy to apologize to him and his countrymen after the latter called them out over xenophobia. The African Giant had promised not to perform in SA again until something was done about xenophobia by the government.
In light of a new concert coming up tagged ‘Africa Unite’, South Africans have insisted that Burna Boy be removed from the lineup. Other artistes have purportedly declined to perform on the same stage as Burna.

Ek se … @burnaboy all we want is an apology. We know 🇿🇦 is not perfect. But we took you in as our own before you reached these levels. You say you are an AFRICAN GIANT, prove it.— AKA (@akaworldwide) November 13, 2019
